Day Trips
At the Business Centre we also offer visitors to Andalucía a range of high quality day trips by coach and train which show the real Spain, Gibraltar and Tangiers. The tours give guests the opportunity to experience the true culture of the places they visit and to explore the most visually spectacular sights and locations. Using experienced guides with an in-depth knowledge of the local areas, we provide guests with interesting and relevant information throughout our tours, describing the history, architecture and people of the region. Our aim is to provide you with lasting memories which you will cherish for years to come.
RONDA BY TRAIN (RETURNING BY COACH):-
Every Thursday by coach to Algeciras, then mountain train to Ronda, on a single track line, built over 100 years ago. This spectacular mountain scenery can only be seen by train, with many villages and delightful Victorian stations on route. In Ronda you can explore the old Moorish town, including the 18th Century bridge over the famous El Tajo Gorge, before rejoining the coach for the scenic journey back to the coast.
FUNGIROLA MARKET & MIJAS:-
Every Tuesday. A morning visit to Fuengirola to enjoy this popular seaside town and the famous Tuesday market, one of the largest on the coast. Lots of shops, a stroll along the promenade, or perhaps a visit to the Zoo. Then its on to the delightful mountain village of Mijas, probably the most famous of the Andalucian White Villages. Time to shop and explore this beautiful pueblo, with its narrow streets and wonderful views.
GIBRALTAR (A choice of trips) :-
Every Wednesday & Friday.
Shopping Only – duty free & Lots of bargains.
Rock Tour and Shopping – your mini coach will take you on a wonderful tour of the Rock. Admission prices to St. Michaels Caves and the Upper Rock and Barbary Apes are included. The tour finishes in Main Street, leaving you time for your duty-free shopping.
Dolphin Boat Trip and Shopping – Join us on board ‘Dolphin World’ to enjoy the fun of the friendly wild dolphins in the bay of Algeciras. The excellent commentary on board will make this a very special adventure for everyone. Also includes time for duty-free shopping etc.
Rock the Boat – Combined Rock Tour and Dolphin World. Subject to sailing times, and has less shopping time.

TANGIERS:-
Every Tuesday and Saturday. By coach to Tarifa, the fast ferry getting us to North Africa in approximately 35/40 minutes. The tour will include the Caves of Hercules, followed by a typical Moroccan lunch (which includes live music, belly dancing etc) and Kasbah (fortress), with time for shopping. Our guide will accompany you at all times. If time allows we visit a herbalist and take a short refreshment stop before boarding our ferry back to Spain.

JEREZ:-
Every Tuesday. Horse Show or Shopping, plus Sherry Bodega. Either free time sightseeing and shopping, or to the world famous ‘Spanish Dancing Horses’ show. then lunch and the tour of the Sherry Bodega, including a walking visit to a vineyard, plus the distillery and cellars (with free wine tasting!)
MIJAS:-
Every Tuesday. Water Park (Parque Acuatico Mijas) enjoy a full day of sun and exciting water adventures, including brand new attractions for 2005! Families and friends get set to get wet! You are sure to have fun. Self-service cafe and bar, cloakrooms, changing rooms, showers and safety deposit boxes are available. You may also hire floats, sun beds and air mattresses. All you need to enjoy a really fun day out. DON’T FORGET THE SUN BLOCK! You may take a picnic lunch if you wish, but glass utensils are not permitted.
SEVILLE:-
Every Friday. The lovely capital of Andalucía. Upon arrival, we take a short tour, including a visit to the majestic Plaza de Espana, La Giralda, the symbol of Seville and the Cathedral, which is the largest in the world (entrance fee included in the price). You will then have free time to explore the city (with optional lunch available) and perhaps take a cruise on the river, or ride in a horse drawn carriage.
CORDOBA:-
Every Thursday. This elegant wealthy city is one of the most beautiful in Andalucía and is home to the Medquita, the only Mosque-Cathedral in the world (entrance fee included in the price). We travel through mountain scenery, olive groves and the wine –growing region. Arriving in Cordoba mid-morning, you will have 5 hours to enjoy this lovely city, with its beautiful fountains, Alcazar gardens, Roman Baths and the famous Jewish Quarter.
THE MARMALADE RUN (Spanish Lakes & Orchards):-
Every Friday. Our trip takes us inland, to an old Olive Mill, for a fully guided tour and, when in season, where we see the full olive oil production process (Light refreshments included). We then visit and authentic citrus fruit farm of around 17,000 trees, where we can sample fresh fruit, straight from the tree. A tour of the scenic Spanish Lake District follows via the dramatic El Chorro Gorge, stopping for lunch, before then returning to the coast.
GRANADA AND THE ALHAMBRA PALACE:-
Every Wednesday. Your visit to this most elegant of Andalucían cities takes you inland towards the Sierra Nevada Mountains. You arrive in Granada with time to visit the Cathedral and to explore the Moroccan shops etc. Our coach will take you to visit the amazing Alhambra Palace, which is the most visited Arab monument in Spain. Your official guided tour also includes the beautiful Generalife gardens.
PLEASE NOTE THIS TRIP INVOLVES A LOT OF WALKING.
